Why did we start the Workplace Wellbeing Association? We felt that some more was needed. We needed a non-profit with a charitable ethos. Focusing persuading employers to implement real strategic programmes, with a good quality of delivery and excellent measurement processes. Also, we feel there is a need to focus on prevention, personal development and performance improvement and to build an evidence base to show employers that wellbeing boosts profitability.
The Workplace Wellbeing Association held a joint webinar with IMA Europe Webinar 2021 series on Wed 29th Sep. The webinar was facilitated by our co-chair Andrew Wilmot. Our keynote speaker was Dr Alka Patel MB ChB, DRCOG, DFFP, DCH, MRCGP of Lifestyle First and she talked about “The Principles of wellbeing for a business”. Alka is a doctor, coach, TedX speaker, author and podcaster.
